Once upon a time... before our world was nothing but ash...

Project NF is a futuristic fantasy JRPG x CRPG hybrid taking place in a world of magic, bounty-hunters, augmentations, demonic symbiotic AI's and more. It is intended to be a mature experience, featuring blood, strong language, violence, and carnage. Even so, many individuals in this world fight for a better future, and they fight like hell.

In Project NF you will lead a team of Freelancers (highly skilled mercenaries) through the streets and skyscrapers of a city-state megalopolis. A city gripped by a worldwide economic depression. With a pivotal mayoral election approaching, the future of over 100 million people hangs in the balance. Corporations, gangs, nobles and even foreign powers are all working behind the scenes to tip the odds in their favor. And you are one of the players. And all of you are unaware of a creeping menace, locked away in ancient servers deep underground...
